In response to a request from one of our followers, here is my Urban Decay Naked Cherry Tutorial for eyeshadow. I was browsing Pinterest a few days ago and came across an ad by Urban Decay that they had a brand new eyeshadow palette out. The moment I saw the colors, I knew I had to have it. It’s beautiful! Seriously, check out those colors below. When I saw the colors on the palette, there was no other choice for me. I went out and bought the palette that day. Literally.

Want one for yourself? Sure you do! Pick one up online from Amazon right here!

I had hardly gotten home before I opened the palette and swatched every color. Beautiful. With my blue-green eyes and blonde hair, this palette looks amazing on me. I even experimented with it for a dance show with my performance makeup. In fact, I still used the same rules I posted in my original Latin Competition Makeup Tutorial, but swapped out the accent colors for these beautiful crimson shades.

I posted a picture of one of my test styles and immediately received a request to do a tutorial. So, voila! Here it is! My supplies list for my Urban Decay Naked Cherry Tutorial for eyeshadow!

For the entire Urban Decay Naked Cherry Tutorial, you can follow along and watch me do it step by step on my VLOG post right here.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Tutorial Makeup List

1. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation

In the tutorial, I used two different colors: 180 for the base on my eyes and cheekbones, and 310 for the base on the rest of my face. You can buy the exact foundation that I use by clicking on the picture to the left.

2. Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette

This is probably the single most important item to get on this tutorial. Since, obviously, this is an Urban Decay Naked Cherry Tutorial for Eyeshadow! Helloooooo! Kinda hard to do it without that. But don’t worry! You can pick one up by clicking on that picture!

3. Maybelline “The Rocket Express” in Blackest Black

I love this mascara! I’ve gone through many different brands and types of mascara and Maybelline is my favorite brand by far. As far as the quality for the price, you seriously can’t beat Maybelline. And this type is my favorite. My eyelashes look so lush and long! Lovely! Click on the picture to get the exact one for yourself.

4. NYX “Slide On” Pencil in Pretty Violet

NYX is one of my favorite makeup brands. I find NYX is in that sweet spot of couture makeup quality with department store prices. They have so many different colors of this eye pencil, too! Honestly, you don’t have to go with this color, you can choose any of the many colors you want. I choose this color because I have eyes that change between green and blue and the violet brings out the green in them. By clicking on the picture, not only can you pick up that particular color, but you can also change the color if you want!

5. Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil

I head straight back to Revlon for my eyebrow pencil. Again, I’ve tried many different pencils, but I find this particular pencil works best for blending with my eyebrow hairs and giving a nice line. By no means am I an eyebrow specialist, but I do need to draw my on every day because my natural eyebrows are blonde and they seriously disappear beneath my base makeup. Also, go for a darker color. I’m blonde, but I use “Medium Brown” for my eyebrow color and “Dark Brown” when I compete. Click on the picture to buy the exact one!

6. NYX Compact Powders

I’ve got four different ones listed below. For my cheekbones, nose-bone, and above the brow, I use the Finishing Powder in Banana. For creating shadows, I use the Matte Bronzer in Medium. For highlighting, I use the Illuminator Powder in Chaotic. And to blend it all together, I use the “Stay Matte not Flat” in “Creamy Natural”. If you skin tone is fair like mine, you can pick up the exact powders by simply clicking on the pictures below.

7. NYX Lip Liner Pencil in Deep Red

It’s a great color! But even better, NYX has pencils in many different colors so it’s easy to mix and match. If you don’t like the bright red color of my lips, that’s ok! Just choose a different color! Buy your own by clicking on the image to the left.

8. Tattoo Junkee Lip Paint in Rebel

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this product. It was given to me as a sample and I immediately fell in love. The lip color is deep and highly pigmented, and it lasts forever! You can buy the exact color that I have in my tutorial by clicking on the picture to the left. Only use the lip paint to achieve my look. Don’t use the sparkles. I mean, you could if you wanted to. But don’t if you want the same look. Catch my drift? The only problem I have with this product is that it leaves my lips feeling dry and a little sticky. Which leads me to….

9. Maybelline Color Sensation Lipstick in Red Revolution

Amazing red lipstick color! It is seriously the perfect shade. Not too orange, not too pink; this lipstick is literally the quintessential red pout. The lipstick works well on its own, but I like to layer it on top of the Tattoo Junkee Lip Paint so my lips don’t feel so dry and sticky. This lipstick leaves your lips feeling nice and moist. It’s great! Pick one up for yourself by clicking on the picture to the left!
